Two Pasta "Recipes"

I believe the first of these is the one Ann was urging me to post.

Cheesey Elbow Pasta :)

Ingredients: maccaroni, water, cheese powder, butter, milk

Bring about a quart and a half of water to a boil and add about 7.25 oz of maccaroni.
Boil for about 7 minutes or until it's as tender as you like it, stirring occasionally.
Once it's soft enough for you, drain it.
Put 4 Tbsp of butter in the pot while you drain the pasta.
Put pasta back in the pot.
Add 1/4 cup milk and as much cheese powder as you want (this is often packaged in a handy amount and sold with the maccaroni).
Stir it up until the butter is melted and the cheese evenly distributed.
Serves 2 if they eat like me and there is no accompanying dish.

Naked Spaghetti ala Ed

This is how my friend Ed made his spaghetti. I found I like it this way too.

Bring about a quart and a half of water to a boil.
Add 1/2 lb. spaghetti broken in half
Boil the spaghetti until it's as tender as you like it.
Drain.
Add olive oil, parmesan cheese, oregano, seasoned salt, crushed red pepper, and garlic powder in whatever amount you like.
Enjoy.
Again, serves 1 with my appetite and no accompaniment other than a random can of veggies.

Including Ann's tuna cassarole recipe this covers 60% of my regular recipes.

Then I would think you will benefit the most of us all from this recipe blog. I'd like to hear from you how any attempts to make the recipes listed herein goes!

And the Naked Spaghetti does sound good. I'll have to try it sometime!

Did ya mean garlic powder, or the real thing?

I like spaghetti with pesto (i've discovered).

That first one sounds so easy. I think you should market it. :-)

I meant garlic powder, as the now corrected post says. When we used cook a LifeGroup spaghetti dinner every week at the Schwaars' house we'd use their garlic press and put some live, crushed garlic in there. We also used sauce for those dinners.

You don't have to have a garlic press to fix stuff with real garlic. In the produce section of the store (you know, where they sell bananas), there is minced garlic in a jar. We keep one of those in the refrigerator and use it anytime a recipe calls for minced garlic. It's pretty cheap and lasts a LONG time. Love you.

I use the minced garlic in a jar too. It is good to have on hand to add a little zip to things!

Oh, and I used your first pasta recipe for lunch today. It was a big hit! Thanks! ;)

(What sort of word verification is this??? suckuu??? I thought this was a family friendly site!

Dad agrees with Ann that you should market that recipe for pasta and cheese. What are your other 2 recipes?
