Broccoli Slaw (Or how to get Daniel to eat vegetables)

Ann asked for this recipe--I'm sorry it's taken so long to get it on here! There are several variations of broccoli slaw. Mine is very simple--4 ingredients.

Ingredients

1 pkg broccoli slaw (or rainbow salad)
1/4 to 1/2 cup of raisins
1/4 to 1/2 cup of slivered almonds
About one cup of Marzetti refrigerated slaw dressing, either original or light--I've never measured this, but I think I use about 1/3 of a jar.

Directions

Mix all of above in a large bowl. Refrigerate for a couple of hours before serving.

Like I said, there are a bunch of variations. We Meadors generally like this one, but when Jamie is here, we leave out the almonds. Love to all, and God bless.

Thanks, mom. Of course I know the recipe, but I think it's so good (and so easy), that others should know it, too! We had something similar last night, because I made cabbage fry and knew there'd be some parts of the cabbage that were too crunchy for that, so I put those pieces (minus the core, of course) into the food processor, along with two carrots (got to get rid of those before they go bad), and finally used up the rest of the slaw dressing! I also threw in some slivered almonds and some peanuts. It was good. Tasted like restaurant cole slaw + peanuts & almonds. I might throw in some black pepper before I eat the rest, though.
